那个一直守望我的人

守望只属于那些具有浪漫主义理想情怀的人,没有信仰与理想,便无所谓“守望”。理想是守望的镜子,古往今来,所有怀抱理想,企图在现实世界中寻找“精神家园”的人,都是“守望者”。

孔子就是一个丧了家的守望者。他有道德却无权无势,敢于批评当事权贵,他是这样一个“持不同政见”之人。他的理想,他的乌托邦是“周公之治”。为了这个信仰,他背井离乡,游说个诸侯国,希望有统治者可以采纳他的政见,实施他的国策。但可悲的是,从古至今,哪个统治者天天愿意听一个“国师”在自己头上指手画脚,他们需要的只是帮忙与帮闲的附庸。而这恰是孔子所不愿意的,不愿意丧失人格与独立性,成为“豢养”的人。于是,他真正成为“守望“者,远离主流,被边缘化,他的“孔教乌托邦”永远只是“守望”,根深蒂固的孤独只有他一人体尝。

“守望”的虚无缥缈注定了守望者根本的孤独。守望的彼岸世界此岸化是每个守望者的愿望,但这些理想却又如此不切实际,不符潮流。孔子的乌托邦是什么?是“和而不同”的秩序。“和”为和谐,而“同”为平等,词意为不同等级的人能和睦共处但又有严格等级秩序的社会状态是一个知识分子,贵族,皇室专权的社会,是更严酷的专治。历史学一次次证明了,违逆历史进步取向的作为是不可能成功的。所以它注定只是孔子一个人孤单执着的守望。正如柏拉图的理想国,他在几次无功而返之后说:“现世的国家,还是交予法律管理吧。”那个理想国,只能是“彼岸天堂”,他们都知道“此岸天堂即地狱”,所以只得孤寂一生的守望,但守望之为守望,有一种“挣扎”之奇美。

守望是明知达不到而期待,明知不可为而为之。鲁迅曾有一种比喻“冻灭”还是“烧完”?是“冻灭”的坐以待毙,还是“烧完”的垂死挣扎?还是垂死挣扎吧,做个可爱的守望者,别偏废了人生形同枯木。守望即有希望,希望即有动力,动力即有行动,行动即存在,存在即证明了人生的价值。这就是精神归依的守望的意义。

在茫茫宇宙间,地球是寂寞的,所以人难免寂寞,于是成了守望彼岸的待渡人,但守望的“黄金世界”不在过去,不属于来世,只是现在,它需要你我的坚守创造与希望浇灌。

Many students spend money in a quite extravagant way. They see things they like and they must have them, no matter how expensive: clothes, jewelry, shoes, facials, hair and nails for girls; clothes, watches, shoes and electronics for guys. There are two differing opinions about this phenomenon. Some feel that it is fine for students to have a little fun; after all, they can only enjoy their lives in college, since after graduation, there will be nothing but work, work, and more work. Others, however, frown on the extravagance; college is, they point out, the period when people form habits of independent living, since it is probably the first time that most children have been somewhat independent from parents.

In my opinion, we college students need to have some restraint in our spending habits. Most of us are still financially dependent on parents, but we are preparing for independence very soon. If we get used to spending extravagantly now, the adjustment to adult life will be extremely difficult.

欧阳修的《归田录》记载着这样一则小故事:吕蒙正做宰相时,许多人都想与之攀援结交。朝中有位官员收藏着一面古镜,自称能照二百里,想把它献给吕蒙正,以获得赏识和提拔的机会。吕蒙正笑着说:“吾面不过碟子大,安用照二百里?”一句幽默话婉拒了这位官员的“雅贿”。欧阳修就此赞叹:“盖寡好而不为物累者,昔贤之所难也。”

“寡好”者少欲,少欲则易知足,易知足则不为物所累。虽说人之爱好无可厚非,但为官者一旦将“爱好”演变成“嗜好”,难免会被其所左右,这就无形当中提升了欲望,当然也难免会有人千方百计“投其所好”。为了“嗜好”而私欲膨胀的为官者,心为物役,就会迷失方向,越陷越深,失去为官本心,成为欲望的傀儡,成为一些别有用心之人“糖衣炮弹”的主攻点。也正因为有了所好之物的牵绊,有的人才放弃了廉洁,让腐败如影随形,如“雀圣”主任、“玉痴”省长等等。

反之,如若为官者能坚守“寡好”,就会少一份激活私欲的机会,对于不属于自己的东西,如名利钱财这类身外之物的诱惑,也就容易始终保持不求不取的态度。只有这样的为官者,才能正确理解“家有黄金万两,不过一日三餐;家有广厦千万间,睡觉只需三尺宽”的内涵,才能知足者常乐,不为外物所累,独守一片清廉乐士,不把公权力当作可以交易的商品,变成谋取私利的工具。

管子有言:“君子使物,不为物使。”坚守“寡好”者无疑是能做物的主人,不做物的奴仆的君子。不管物的价值几何,无论物的显性价值大,还是隐性价值高,能不为其所累者,必是对此物无欲的“寡好”之人。
