记单词一定要把读音记住，但是，读音却不应该用单词表来记，而是应该放在课文里记。就是把课文读熟。最好背下来。那样记的读音才能灵活运用。

凡是告诉你单词的读音需要死记硬背的人都是傻蛋。单词本来都是有规律的，我研究单词规矩四十多年，从十七岁开始研究单词规矩。而且那时就总结出现在在我的课程里讲的自然拼读法。我用一年的时间研究自然拼读，那时叫读音规则。因为我在学校只学了一年英语。没有机会再次回到学校学习。不过这也是好事，如果我继续在学校学习，可能就被老师给带跑偏了。

掌握了自然拼读后，我就知道英语太好学了，别管认不认识，学没学过，看到单词就会读，会读就会写。单词的读音和书写根本对我来说就是不是障碍。我要做的事就是听老外的发音，把语音练准。只要发准音，单词就能记准。所以就在发音上下了很多功夫。最后的结果自己还比较满意。至少第一次见到老外，和她聊了几句后，她就问我在哪留学。她是纽约来的，发现我的口音和她一样，所以才问我这个问题。她又问我在哪读的大学，我说我妹上过大学，她非常惊讶。
